Julia Lerner, MA

Julia grew up on Long Island, New York. She completed her undergraduate degree in Scientific Illustration and Pre-Medicine from Arcadia University in Glenside, Pennsylvania. An early fascination with medicine and patterns in nature initially drew her to the field of scientific illustration. Tutoring scientific subject matter throughout her undergraduate study reinforced her love of teaching, communication, and learning. Julia received her Master of Arts degree from the Department of Art as Applied to Medicine at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

Julia has received awards for both her medical and biological illustrations from the Association of Medical Illustrators. She currently works as a medical illustrator in New York City.
